Matt LaRue is an award-winning designer who skillfully integrates sustainability with program needs and overall design, and brings to HMFH more than twelve years experience in the design of schools, housing, and other institutional facilities. Through Matt’s design leadership, a building program is transformed into a joyful place for learning, living, or working. Matt also teaches the Level 5 Studio class at Northeastern University’s School of Architecture, where he coordinates studio coursework with an Integrated Building Systems course. His work has included projects ranging from a $92 million LEED Silver modernization to a high-performance elementary school to an occupiable green roof for a university residence hall.
